SUMMARY:DE: VFMC Dover Laps for Charity
DESCRIPTION:Experience The Monster Mile from a driver’s perspective during Dover Motor Speedway’s Laps for Charity event on Sunday\, Sept. 27\, 2026. Participants will have the opportunity to drive multiple laps around the legendary one-mile concrete oval\, famous for its steep banking and challenging racing surface. \nFor $75 per vehicle\, participants can take five group laps around the track behind a Dover Motor Speedway pace vehicle. Those seeking a more unique experience can purchase an eight-lap VIP session for $125\, giving participants the opportunity to be the only car on the track behind a track vehicle. Additional add-ons of pace car rides ($50) and pictures in front of the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza ($25) are also available. \nCar clubs should register under their club name “Valley Forge Mustang Club”. Passenger vehicles only (convertibles allowed). \nAppropriate rollover protection is encouraged for convertibles\, cabriolets\, and open-top vehicles. This includes T-tops\, Targa tops\, fixed roll bars\, fixed roll cages\, and roll bars that automatically deploy in the event of a collision or rollover. Drivers and passengers in vehicles with their tops down should consider wearing eye protection\, such as glasses or sunglasses. \nNot permitted: Motorcycles\, trikes\, slingshots\, or other all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). \nEvent Rules: \n\nDrivers must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.\nAll participants must sign an event waiver in order to participate.\nAll passengers must wear their seatbelt.\nNo alcohol is allowed.\nVehicles must be street legal.\nDrivers must follow the speed set by the pace car.\nCars must remain single file… ABSOLUTELY NO PASSING!\n\n100% of proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities\, whose mission is to help children in need. \nRegister here: https://www.speedwaycharities.org/events/dover/laps-for-charity-september/ \nAfter you register\, send an email to Kevin Kleinsmith letting him know you are signed up: newsletter@thevfmc.org
